Parade Details

This year’s parade theme is “Let’s Get Crackin”

The Crab Festival Parade is an excellent opportunity to show your community spirit! The Crab Festival Parade is co-sponsored each year by the Kodiak Kiwanis Club, with special thanks to our PIKE Sponsors.

The parade route will remain the same as in 2021. It will begin at 10 am sharp at the intersection of Powell Street and Mill Bay Road and proceed north up Mill Bay to Bartel Street. Parade day is Saturday, May 28th.

You must check in at the corner of Powell Street and Baranof Street (the streets next to the side entrance of the Middle School) by 8:45 am. You will be assigned a number in the line-up at that time. Please do not arrive late as judging will begin at 9 am sharp. Parade entries will be judged and receive awards the morning of the parade.

All floats must be constructed with safety and care. If necessary, inspections will be made to ensure the safety of participants and spectators. The Kodiak Chamber of Commerce will not be liable for personal injury or property damage.
