Schedule Your Fire Extinguisher/Fire Safety Class
All cooking vendors must take a fire extinguisher/fire safety class.
If you took the course in 2025, your certificate is still good. You will not be required to take the class if you have a current fire extinguisher training certificate from the Kodiak Fire Department or US Coast Guard.
The course is open to all Crab Festival vendors, but only cooking vendors are required to take it.
The Kodiak Fire Department will be offering extinguisher training classes for the following dates this year:

Saturday 16 May @10AM- Location- KFD 1240 Mill Bay Rd. New Station
Tuesday May 19th @6pm- Location- KFD 1240 Mill Bay Rd. New Station
Wednesday May 20th @6pm- Location- Fisherman’s Hall- Harbormaster office
Thursday May 21st @10am- Location- Fisherman’s Hall- Harbormaster Office
