Event & Parade Forms

Would you like to host an event during Crab Fest?

Complete and return this form for any events taking place during the Kodiak Crab Festival® that you would like listed in the official Schedule of Events.
The Schedule of Events will be printed by the Kodiak Daily Mirror in early May.

To ensure an event is listed in the newspaper, forms must be returned to the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce by Tuesday, May 11th, 2021.

This year’s parade theme is “Retro Revival”

The Crab Festival Parade is an excellent opportunity to show your community spirit!

The Crab Festival Parade is co-sponsored each year by the Kodiak Kiwanis Club, with special thanks to our PIKE Sponsors. Please complete this information sheet and return it to the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce by Friday, May 14th, 2021. You can email it or drop it off at 100 East Marine Way, Suite 300.

The parade route will remain the same as in 2019. It will begin at Powell Street and Mill Bay Road and proceed north up Mill Bay to Bartel Street. Parade day is Saturday, May 29th. You must check-in at the corner of Powell Street and Baranof Street (the streets next to the side entrance of the Middle School) by 8:45 am. An assigned number in the line-up will be assigned to you at that time. Please do not arrive late as judging will begin at 9 am sharp. Parade entries will be judged and receive awards the morning of the parade. All floats must be constructed with safety and care. If necessary, inspections will be made to ensure the safety of
participants and spectators. The Kodiak Chamber of Commerce will not be liable for personal injury or property damage.

Masks will be required.
